L U T H E R S T R O D E

I don't use to show most of the process of my illustrations.

But for Tradd's character Luther Strode i did it.

In between the fron pose and the final back pose are 4 months.
I was doing this in December in the gaps of Captain Marvel's run.

I wasnt happy at all wit the digital version.
I wasn't working straight digital long time and the pose and too straight.

Then i did an traditional version. The final one.

Rook:The Watcher from Afar

I was really lucky to be invited to be part of this upcoming project created by the amazing Micky Neilson.

Here is a little description of what this project is about.

ROOK: THE WATCHER FROM AFAR
"This is a passion project of mine – an original comic book series concept that I’ve been working on for several months. The main character is Rook, a female detective in 1939 Los Angeles. She’s a no-nonsense gumshoe whose cases consistently delve into the supernatural. Keep an eye out here for more details on this exciting new series."

See you soon Carol

It has been a while since my last post but I was hardly working for Captain Marvel.

My arc is finished and now its time to say that was an amazing run.
Even more now, that I have the issues in my hands i must say that this is probably my best work so far.
That was just possible, again, thanks the amazing creative team i was lucky to be with.

This is my favorite action sequence from the all 4 books. (issue #11)
I mean, its allways easyer to shine when superheroes are hunting bad guys over new york rooftops. :)

..and this is a shot from last book. Captain Marvel #12, in stores soon.

I T S A W R A P C M 1 0

I've just finished the second issue of Captain Marvel #10.
Its never easy mix work during Christmas and new year's holidays but its all done now and i'm pretty happy with the result.
I really feel the vibe of the story and being in a great team helps a lot.
Another big shut out to Waker, Sana, Kelly and Jordie.

I'm not really following what critics say but it feels good when they totally understand the all point you wanna input to the book.
Even though i know i'm not super mainstream it fells great to see such good critics in most of the forums.
Some of them below:

And here is a teaser for this upcoming issue.
